In 2002 we were contracted to Bailey Telecom who was given joint responsibility to complete the network infrastructure with BT and NTL, However both NTL and BT were removed from the list for failing to complete some low key installations on time. Bailey Telecom were awarded the entire contract.

This created some major problems with planning. It was not known what the completed contract would involve and Bailey Telecom did not have sufficient labour resource to meet the increasing work load. Having recently completing an installation at the Welsh Assembly we were drafted in to help with the 2002 games. As the start date drew closer the work load increased and our engineers out numbered Bailey Telecom’s by 3 to 1. After the games closing ceremony we were given direct responsibility to remove all the networks with 5 days or Bailey Telecom would face financial penalties. This work was completed by our dedicated engineers within 3 days.

MBNA 2004: A new call centre for the Bank was under construction in 2004 and Computacenter PLC was the successful bidder for the cable infrastructure. Interlink Telecom sub contracted all the works from Computacenter.

• Sixty 25 pair telco leads
